Dust off your hiking boots, pack up your bags and take to the trees! The trail to summer starts now. Whether you're an experienced outdoor adventurer or a novice naturalist, with up to 25% off our summer essentials it’s the perfect time to head outdoors for a camping trip.

To make planning easier, we’ve picked some of our favourite spots where you can sleep in the trees - check out our list below.

Salt in your hair, wild weekends away and adventures await in one of the most beautiful states in the US. From the ancient woodlands, hiking trails, and lava fields of Deschutes National Forest to the stunning, jagged coastline of Canon Beach this place is a favourite for families. Plus, our Tentsile Bend Store is just a stone’s throw away from the coast and the trees, so you can pick up all your camping essentials on the way to the trails.

The rough terrain, beautiful lakes and lush forest mean that a Tree Tent works perfectly in this environment. Here are some of the places the Tentsile Tribe have been setting up camp.

2. Northern California

When we think about majestic forests, Northern California is the first place that comes to mind. The Tentsile Stack shown above sleeps 12 people in elevated comfort. It was created by tree climbing experts, so, not one to try at home folks! Luckily our Tree Tents and giant hammocks work just as well when set up at 4ft off the ground and come with loads of ladder attachment points for easy access.

If you want to get away from it all into a redwoods retreat, we can’t recommend this part of the world enough! Or, if mountains are more your thing, you can head over to Yosemite National Park for epic escapes under the shadow of the iconic El Capitan!

3. Alter Experiences, Glamping Retreats at Laguna Mountain

This is a beautiful site set deep inside the Cleveland National Forest by the Big Laguna Lake Trail, right at the foot of Laguna Mountain, one of the highest peaks in San Diego at over 6,000ft elevation.

All pitches come with thoughtful touches: sleeping pads, pillows, ambient lighting, even bean bags, to make sure your camping experience is as comfortable as possible! Alter Experiences ‘strive to create nature immersive, meaningful and hassle-free experiences in the outdoors’ at all their locations.- Not to be missed!

4. Utah, The Needles Outpost Campground

If you’re looking for something a bit wilder, set up camp in the beautifully barren landscape of Utah’s salt flats. Witness the magic of daybreak across the desert and watch as the incredible colours of the sunset slowly give way to evening’s chill and a clear night sky. You’ll be nice and toasty in your Tree Tent, so can sit back and simply stargaze.

With numerous rock formations nearby, Needles Outpost is the perfect place for avid climbers to set up basecamp. And, if you needed yet another reason to head over there, our Tentsile Ogden Store is en-route, so you can gear up before answering the call of the wild.

What are you waiting for?

Getting itchy feet! We thought so. #Tentsile on social and share your spectacular Summer of camping with us. Our favourite posts will receive a gift card to put towards their next Tentsile adventure.
