When you step into a Tentsile, you’re stepping into more than just a tent—you’re stepping into a whole new way of experiencing the outdoors. Over the years, our community of adventurers has proven that camping in the trees is more than novelty—it’s a lifestyle, a source of joy, and a bridge to unforgettable memories.
Take one long-time explorer in the Canadian mountains. With over 500 hangs under his belt, he’s tested his Tentsile Connect 2.0 through snow, hail, and endless fishing adventures. His gear has seen sun-faded rainflies, well-worn straps, and the occasional zipper hiccup, but the reliability of Tentsile—and the quick support of our team—has kept him camping high and dry.
Then there’s the family who built their very own three-level tree tent stack with a Safari Stingray, Trilliums, bug net, and cabin. For them, tree camping isn’t just an occasional trip—it’s part of their everyday life.
There’s also Geir from FG Adventure – who started his Tentsile journey back in 2019. Since then, he’s spent over 150 nights in the trees—through calm summer evenings, crisp autumn mornings, and stormy nights when their Tentsile stood strong. For their kids, sleeping suspended is pure magic—like living in an adventure story. For the parents, it’s the peace of mind that comes from reliable shelter and mornings that start with a view of the sunrise through the trees.
Three stories. Hundreds of nights suspended. Countless memories made. From milestone adventures to family hideaways, from rugged mountains to backyard escapes—our community shows that Tentsile is more than a tent. It’s an invitation to play, to connect, and to see the outdoors from a whole new perspective. But don’t take our word for it – read on to hear from the customers themselves.

“I purchased a Safari Stingray last year with two trilliums, a bug net and an insulated cabin to create a 3 level stack. I have never been more impressed with any product I have ever purchased in my life. The quality and materials are unbelievable. The design is like a 6 year olds imagination, combined with the talent of a world class engineer.
Everything is right where you expect it to be and I can’t seem to find a single thing wrong with any part of it. It is an order of magnitude greater in all aspects than any tent I have ever owned. It makes me feel like a kid again every time I climb inside. Your tree tent has completely changed my families lives. My daughter absolutely loves it and last summer we slept in it at least 5 nights a week until late fall. We have it permanently set up in a campground on our farmland. I just added on to the campground and planted over a hundred trees!
I purchased a Safari Connect to add to the area - after receiving and opening the new tent, I was greeted by another flawless product. I think I may love it even more than the Stingray!
Later in the day I was on your web page showing a co worker where to purchase them, and I stumbled across the section highlighting your team and your story. I had no idea it was a family ran business with a small team. It makes me love the product even more! I needed to reach out and thank you guys personally. It’s absolutely incredible that you not only created such an innovative product, but for the last nine years have completely blown all your competition out of the water.”

“Hit a new milestone - hanging my Tentsile Connect 2.0 for the 500th time this week. Most of my camping is single night stops with the occasional multi-day hang as I work my way through the Canadian mountains fishing all the rivers and streams I can find.
So, for those on here considering stepping into the world of Tentsile tree tenting, what wears with 500 setups? The straps. The edges are starting to get a little worn and despite always using tree wraps there's a bit of debris and sap buildup in some sections. A bit of lubricant on the ratchets every couple of years has kept them cranking smoothly.
My Ground Conversion Kit has been used less than a dozen times. There's really only one valley in the region with super restrictive camping where hanging from trees is not possible or allowed. Each time I ground camp I'm reminded of the unadvertised luxuries of tree tents... not having to find/make level ground, no crawling, less bending over whilst moving stuff, less debris inside the tent, fewer pegs to pound in the ground, less need for inflatable pads.
Last year I added the Insulated Underquilt to my kit. Attaching it to the underside of the tent floor has dramatically increased the temperature range I'm willing to camp and brings new warmth to those sub-0 nights. I start to notice it retaining heat when temps fall below 10 degrees.
Customer support from Tentsile over the years has been consistently excellent. They've been really quick to provide warranty support when needed. Any questions I've had are usually answered within minutes if I contact them during European business hours or by the next work day for those after hours inquiries.”

Our Tentsile Journey: 150+ Nights in the Trees Since 2019
When we first discovered Tentsile tents back in 2019, we had no idea just how much they would change the way we experience the outdoors. Fast forward to today, and we’ve spent between 150 and 170 nights suspended in the trees—through calm summer evenings, crisp autumn mornings, and the occasional rainy adventure. These tents have become a cornerstone of our outdoor life, whether we’re heading out for a quick overnight escape or embarking on a multi-day trek.
We’ve tested several different models over the years, each with its own personality and strengths. But if we had to choose a single favorite, the Tentsile Connect for two people wins our hearts every time. It offers the perfect balance of comfort, space, and portability—ideal for both solo parent-and-child trips and couple getaways
Quality You Can Trust
One of the first things that struck us about Tentsile tents is the sheer quality of the materials and craftsmanship. After years of use in all sorts of weather conditions, our tents have held up brilliantly. The stitching is still intact, the fabric has proven resilient against rain and wind, and the zippers glide as smoothly as the day we got them.
We’ve pitched our Tentsiles in dense forests, by peaceful lakes, and even in less-than-ideal spots when the weather turned suddenly. No matter the setting, they’ve stood strong—providing shelter, comfort, and peace of mind. That reliability is something you can’t put a price on when you’re miles from home
Comfort in the Canopy
The comfort of sleeping in a Tentsile tent is something truly unique. You’re suspended above the uneven, rocky, or damp ground—away from roots, insects, and cold drafts. Instead, you get a gentle sway in the breeze, a view through the mesh to the stars above, and that satisfying feeling of floating.
The Tentsile Connect, in particular, offers just the right amount of space for two people. It’s cozy but not cramped, and it feels secure enough to let you relax completely. On long trips, that comfort makes all the difference—you wake up refreshed and ready for the day ahead
A Hit With the Kids
It’s not just the adults in our family who love these tents—the kids are absolutely fascinated by them. Sleeping in a tent suspended in the trees feels like something out of an adventure story, and for them, it’s pure magic. They race to help set it up, scramble inside as soon as it’s ready, and fall asleep with huge smiles on their faces.
That excitement has made Tentsile a secret weapon for getting the whole family outdoors more often. Even on trips when the weather isn’t perfect, the promise of “the tree tent” keeps morale high.
Perfect for Any Trip
Over the years, we’ve used our Tentsile tents on every kind of adventure:
- Quick overnight escapes when we just need a reset in nature.
- Weekend trips to favorite spots a few hours away.
- Longer expeditions where comfort and durability are essential.
Their versatility is a big part of why they’ve become our go-to shelter. They’re light enough to carry for shorter hikes, but robust enough to handle extended us
Why We Keep Coming Back
After more than 150 nights in the trees, our love for Tentsile tents hasn’t faded—it’s grown. The combination of top-quality construction, unmatched comfort, and the sheer joy of sleeping suspended above the ground makes them unlike any other outdoor shelter.
For us, Tentsile isn’t just a piece of gear—it’s an invitation to adventure. It’s memories of waking up to sunrise views through the canopy, sharing hot chocolate in the trees, and drifting off to the sound of wind through the leaves.
If you’ve ever wanted to see the outdoors from a whole new perspective, we can’t recommend the Tentsile Connect enough. After all these years and countless trips, it’s still our favorite way to spend a night under the stars—floating in comfort, surrounded by nature, and making memories that last.
