Interview with the Complete Guide to Archery

Interview with Matt at CGA About Tents, Hammocks, and Our Goal of Planting 1,000,000 Trees by 2022.

When I was contacted by Matt from the Complete guide to archery, asking if I would be willing to spend sometime talking about what we do at Tentsile to a new audience of outdoor enthusiasts, I thought it a good opportunity to tell them why we started Tentsile and why it is a perfect fit.

In this interview, Matt dived deep into the heart of what we do as a company, and asked questions that went beyond the usual "how many trees do you need...".

We discuss our goal of planting over 1,000,000 trees by 2022 (and how we've planted over 500,000 so far), how our tents are 100% safe for use on all trees (including trees with delicate bark, like redwoods), our efforts as a Leave No Trace company and our zero-impact credentials, and the benefits and challenges) of trying to maintain a work/life balance when working a job you’re passionate about.

We even discuss the National Geographic photographer, Stephen Belcher, who set up one of our tents 12 feet off the forest floor and was able to snap pictures of the elusive Pygmy Rhino—an animal that has only been photographed five times in the last two decades!

My son and I are archers. Is there an opportunity for us to join your group.
