The Tentsile Stingray 3-Person Tree Tent is our flagship model.
Able to accommodate 3 adults (or a young family of 4) and their gear in absolute comfort, this Tree Tent affords an incredible amount of versatility and space for any type of camping situation.
It comes with a no-see-um insect mesh and a 100% waterproof rainfly.
The Stingray 3-Person Tree Tent is big enough to fit the entire family for a weekend of comfortable camping. The 7.25m2 of floor space there is easily enough space to accommodate 3 adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children with all there camping kit.
You can access its spacious interior through multiple entry points, and the tent includes integrated storage pockets, high-level gear loops and a central hatch for unrivalled accessibility.
Once set up, the tent is suspended, clear of the hard cold ground/wet mud giving extra comfort and warmth. Unlike a traditional hammock tent, the base of the Tentsile Stingray is flat, held taught by our unique three point anchor system which uses ratchets to create tension through the base of the tent. Together with our anti-roll strap system, this avoids the awkward saggy sleeping position of a traditional hammock.
The rainfly's distinct lateral wings peg out, to further increase the protected area at ground level. The unique design gives a huge dry storage area under the tent; this is the equivalent to an extra 12 m2 of dry storage.
While every Tentsile is built for performance, they are also designed for fun! Early in the development of the Tentsile range, we came up with the idea of the Tenstile stack. Why camp flat when you can build a multi-storey base camp?
The Stingray Tent is ideal to use as a multi-level camping stack. The Stingray is the perfect sleeping quarters add a Trillium Giant 3-Person Hammock below with a 1.8m Lightweight Webbing Ladder between the 2 levels, and you have the ultimate camping solution.
